Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing Communications, the Marketing Coordinator supports the implementation of the Villa’s marketing, public relations, fund development and advocacy efforts. This position contributes to existing marketing activities, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with the goals of the organization. Critical thinking skills are essential, as a learning and development specialist must be able to identify common practices and appropriate solutions. This position, under the guidance of theDirector of Program Operations, provides overall leadership and direction of Flagler’s Youth Homeless Services, which currently include Youth Rapid Rehousing (RRH), Youth Outreach, Petersburg School Pilot, Youth Action Board, Fostering Futures, and soon, Youth Host Homes.  A key focus of this position is to bring coordination and cohesion to these services and create a team that provides professional and sensitive services to young adults which in turn promotes their positive development.  This position plays an integral role as Flagler looks to develop new youth services to - first determine if SJV is the best agency to provide those services, and then ensuring that any new programs are designed and implemented in a way that is youth affirming and within best practice.    All work is performed in a collaborative, team-based model with a systems approach.  Work is performed safely, effectively, to the highest ethical standards and in accordance with accrediting standards and St. Joseph’s Villa’s mission, values and guiding principles.

Under the direction and guidance of the Director of Program Operations and Program Manager the position ensures that all families and individuals contacting Flagler Housing and Homeless Services are provided the opportunity to divert or avoid homelessness and/or entering the homeless services system. This position serves as the primary contact for all households seeking assistance by referring households to community resources and/or providing an initial assessment to those who contact the HRC office as part of the CACH Coordinated Entry process.   The Homeless Services Navigator is an integral part of the Coordinated Entry System (CES) of CACH (Crater Area Coalition on Homelessness). The primary goal of this position is to identify and assess households experiencing homelessness who contact the Housing Resource Center, or who are referred by community partners and/or social service agencies. They will administer assessment tools, facilitate referrals - including direct connection to shelter - and engage in problem solving conversations to quickly address a households housing crisis. This position is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, providing financial reporting and analysis.  This position is also responsible for the operations of post-award grant administration and related accounting duties.
