Under the direction and guidance of the Head of Academy, this position is responsible for the on-going assessment of students’ grade level and academic needs, designing and implementing appropriate lesson plans, teaching students with special education or alternative education needs, managing classroom dynamics and behavior, and providing immediate supervision of assigned Assistant Teacher(s) and Counselor(s). All work is implemented using a systems approach within the psycho-educational model, and using proven and creative teaching techniques.

Under the direction and guidance of the Controller, the Grants Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial, accounting and grant support services in order to meet the needs of the organization and the donor(s). This position is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, providing financial reporting and analysis. This position is also responsible for the operations of post-award grant administration and related accounting duties. Working closely with the program directors and Director of Grants Development, the Grants Accountant will focus heavily on budgeting, compliance, reporting and variance analysis functions. The Lead of Culinary Operations, under the direction and guidance of the Senior Director of Transition and Wellness Services, is responsible for the effective implementation of nutritional services standards and environmental safety standards.
Their duties include assisting in hiring and training restaurant staff, following company policies, addressing concerns or solving problems and creating work schedules for culinary staff. The Culinary Manager facilitates a positive work culture and collaborates with the culinary team.
The culinary manager schedules, monitors activities of employees and contracted services, ensures adherence to budgeted resources, and complies with all regulatory, licensing, accrediting, or statutory requirements associated with these functions. Under the direction and supervision of the Program Director (or designee), the Clinical Case Manager provides targeted discharge linkages for clients to ensure ongoing stabilization for the next appropriate level of care. All aspects of service delivery are to be conducted in alignment with the Crisis Now Model – No Wrong Door/No Force First approach. Services are tailored for youth (ages 7-17) and their families**and are not to exceed 23 hours. 23 Hour CRC provides rapid assessment/s, crisis stabilization and discharge coordination for the nextappropriate level of care.
Case Manager is responsible formaintaining up-to-date resource lists and developing partnerships with external parties to ensure effective linkage with a warm hand-off to support crises stabilization.

St. Joseph’s Villa is expanding services and will soon be opening a Crisis Receiving Center that will be Central Virginia’s first emergency room alternative for youth experiencing mental health crises.
Under the direction and supervision of the CSS Clinician, Program Manager, or Program Director, this position coordinates the overall services provided to clients with external agencies and may provide some clerical support for the service. Under the direction and guidance of the Sr. Director of Housing and Homeless Services for Flagler Services, the CoC Coordinator leads the work of the CACH Strategic Plan supporting the goal of ending homelessness in the Crater Region. The CoC Coordinator serves as a bridge between CACH, its Board and membership, and the greater community. This position will work to build the capacity of CACH by promoting a deeper awareness and understanding of homelessness, building meaningful partnerships, engaging, and leveraging community resources. The CACH CoC Coordinator will take the lead on managing the coordinated entry system for CACH to ensure that the system is inclusive, fair, consistent and in line with all HUD and DHCD requirements. This position is responsible for supporting St. Joseph’s Villa to fulfill its responsibilities in its role as the Local Planning Agency (LPG) within the Virginia Balance of State (BOS).
The CoC Coordinator reports to and receives guidance from the CACH Board and the Sr. Director on all efforts to fulfill the CACH Strategic Plan. This position is an employee of and housed with the lead agency of CACH which provides day to day supervision. At this date, that agency is St. Joseph’s Villa.

Under the direction and guidance of the Director of Clinical Services, provides varied nursing services for clients receiving crises stabilization services. Ensures that professional medical standards are maintained throughout service area. Monitors and supports the health care provided to clients to assure compliance with regulatory requirements governing the service such as human support and administrative work administering daily medications, providing daily medical assessments, ordering medications, managing medication administration records, transcribing doctor’s orders, may draw blood, documenting activities, attending clinical staffing and training meetings, and related work as apparent or assigned. This position works under the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher in the assigned academy serving children with a variety of special needs. Working in a collaborative, team based model, the Counselor works with a selected student (s) to implement individual lesson and behavioral plans. Work is performed using a systems approach within the psycho-educational model. Assignment may be at one of St. Joseph's Villa’s academies or in an area public school.

Under the direction and guidance of the Director of Clinical Services and in conjunction with the Day Treatment Director, this position is responsible for managing all clinical aspects of the Day Treatment Community Based and Day Treatment School-Based Services. Responsibilities include assisting with assessments, staffing, conducting individual, group and family sessions, and other services listed in the treatment plan. Responsibilities include supporting ABA staff, assisting with service delivery and clinical program development.

The Intensive In-Home Clinician delivers treatment services to program clients and their families within the policies and procedures of St. Joseph’s Villa. Clients are children and adolescents with behavioral disorders who also have a diagnosed mental illness.
The Intensive In-Home Clinician is responsible for the coordination of an overall written program of services; coordination of program staff in relationship to Service Plans for clients and providing direct professional services to clients and their families. This position focuses upon development of and participation in a team approach with other program staff and community-based support to insure quality services to clients and their families.

Under the direction and guidance of the Director of Community Based Services and Clinical Supervisor of In-Home Behavioral Treatment, the Autism In-Home Counselor (IHBT) delivers treatment services to program clients and their families within the policies and procedures of St. Joseph’s Villa. The Autism In-Home Clinician (IHBT) is responsible for the coordination of an overall written program of services, implementation of treatment interventions in relationship to Individual Service Plans for clients, and providing direct professional services to clients and their families.
The position focuses upon development of an individualized treatment and behavior plan and implementation of this service in a home-based treatment modality to ensure quality services to clients and their families. The treatment provided is based in behavioral and positive theoretical orientations, and considers intellectual, developmental, and emotional delays in the client population. Counseling services are provided with a holistic and family oriented focus.
