This position works under the direction and supervision of the Principal in the assigned school serving children with behavioral and emotional challenges as well as cognitive or developmental delays. Working in a collaborative, team based model, the Counselor works with a selected student (s) to implement individual lesson and behavioral plans. Work is performed using a systems approach within the psycho-educational model. Assignment may be at one of St. Joseph's Villa’s academies or in an area public school.

High School Diploma/GED required. BS/BA degree in education or a related field preferred. Experience with Windows, Outlook, and MS Word preferred. Experience with proprietary software preferred. Valid VA driver’s license with excellent driving record.
