Under the direction and guidance of the Principal, this position is responsible for the on-going assessment of students’ grade level and academic needs, designing and implementing appropriate lesson plans, teaching students with special education or alternative education needs, managing classroom dynamics and behavior, and providing immediate supervision of assigned Assistant Teacher(s) and Counselor(s). All work is implemented using a systems approach within the psycho-educational model, and using proven and creative teaching techniques.  

JOB SUMMARY   The Behavior Analyst is pivotal within our collaborative treatment team, focusing on creating, designing, implementing, and overseeing an innovative ABA-based educational model. Our approach blends aspects of public-school settings with Verbal Behavior Therapy, maintaining rigorous clinical standards throughout. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, devising behavior plans, providing staff training as needed, and ensuring fidelity to evidence-based practices. Under the direction and supervision of a Treatment Specialist, Program Manager, or Program Director, provides direct care for assigned clients in a therapeutic after school, in-home, weekend respite, and summer program serving children ages 5 – 22 with behavioral and emotional challenges and with cognitive or developmental delays.
