Under the direction and supervision of a Treatment Specialist, Program Manager, or Program Director, provides direct care for assigned clients in a therapeutic after school, in-school, and summer program serving children ages 5 – 22 with behavioral and emotional challenges and with cognitive or developmental delays. All work is performed within a systems-based framework and a psycho-educational model. Work is performed collaboratively with and in support of other services offered by St. Joseph's Villa.

Participates as an active member in a team approach to the delivery of services to clients.
Participates in staff meetings, community meetings, and other staff and program group activities that support the operation of an effective psychoeducational program.
Participates in the development and implementation of service plans, objectives and methods necessary for providing effective services to individual clients and families.
Provides professional psychoeducational services to clients and their families individually and in groups on a regularly scheduled basis.
Develop and implement all therapeutic group activities
Participates in the development of progress/evaluation reports on clients.
Maintains accurate individual case records for clients under his/her supervision within state licensing and professional accreditation standards as required.
Completes all required documentation which includes, but is not limited to, the tracking of all individualized behavior programs and related paperwork (e.g. point totals, outcome tracks, discharge planning)
Promotes good community relations and utilizes needed community services.
Maintains sight and sound supervision of children.
Implements independent daily activities for clients.
Completes monthly and quarterly reports in a timely manger.
Completes all daily documentation in a timely manner,
Provides education to clients to enhance social, community, and life skills.
Administers medications in accordance with program procedures and after successfully completing medications training.
Manages behaviors and maintains discipline in accordance with program procedures. Sets parameters and implements positive behavior supports.
Transports clients to activities in the community after successfully completing vehicle training.
Promotes good community relations and represents St. Joseph’s Villa in a positive manner to the community and families.
Performs other duties as assigned.
