This BCBA Supervisor is responsible for managing all clinical aspects of the Applied Behavioral Analysis program for children and adolescents with significant behavioral and developmental disabilities within the policies and procedures of St. Joseph’s Villa. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and providing direct in home and clinic-based services while obtaining referrals. As program expands responsibilities include staffing, training, assessments, oversight of service delivery and clinical supervision.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provides supervision and training of staff within her/his program(s)
- Supervises and designs appropriate level of care and interventions for each person being served.. Ensures counselors are trained in selected intervention techniques.
- Facilitates treatment team for the service.
- Develops and/or supervises the development behavior/treatment plans, objectives and methods necessary for providing effective services to individual persons served and their families.
- Analyzes and documents behavioral patterns and needs for each person served.
- Meets with family members and relevant agencies to advise on progress and teach them techniques to continue behavioral changes outside the supported setting.
- Develops and presents or coordinates in-service trainings to improve staff competencies in clinical and therapeutic interventions.
- Ensures accurate and complete individual case records for persons are in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards for best practice.
- Maintains statistical and evaluative data, preparation of monthly reports and other reports as required and maintains an accurate receipt system for expenditures.
- Assists in the development of program goals, objectives and policies consistent with those of St. Joseph’s Villa.
- Ensures that staff receives training to meet mandated standards, that develops their professional abilities, and that prepares them for advancement opportunities.
- Assumes on-call responsibility as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be licensed behavioral analyst (LBA) in the state of VA.
- Requires three years related experience working with a relevant population and one year of working in a supervisor’s capacity.
- Valid Virginia driver’s license with excellent driving record.

Knowledge of needs of persons with emotional, behavioral and developmental disabilities. Able to apply family systems and behavior theories approaches. Able to make independent decisions and establish an effective and collaborative working style. Must be able to work in and provide support for all staff in a service that provides in-home services.
Under the direction and supervision of a Program Manager, or Program Director, or Senior Director provides direct care for assigned clients in an after school, day program, in-home, and summer program serving children and adults with behavioral and emotional challenges and with cognitive or developmental delays. All work is performed within a systems-based framework and a psycho-educational model. Work is performed collaboratively with and in support of other services offered by St. Joseph's Villa.

This position, under the guidance of theDirector of Program Operations, provides overall leadership and direction of Flagler’s Youth Homeless Services, which currently include Youth Rapid Rehousing (RRH), Youth Outreach, Petersburg School Pilot, Youth Action Board, Fostering Futures, and soon, Youth Host Homes. A key focus of this position is to bring coordination and cohesion to these services and create a team that provides professional and sensitive services to young adults which in turn promotes their positive development. This position plays an integral role as Flagler looks to develop new youth services to - first determine if SJV is the best agency to provide those services, and then ensuring that any new programs are designed and implemented in a way that is youth affirming and within best practice.

Under the supervision of the Director, this position is responsible for providing high-level administrative and clerical support for the service. Under the direction of the 23 Hour CRC Program Director, the Peer Recovery Support Professional serves as a resource to clients admitted to the 23 Hour CRC. Plays a key role in helping individuals identifying problem-solving strategies, linking clients with supports within the community, and providing a sounding board for clients wrestling with issues related to their mental health. Works independently as well as within a team setting. Works collaboratively with case manager to link to community resources. Supervisor oversight is provided

St. Joseph’s Villa is expanding services and will soon be opening a Crisis Receiving Center that will be Central Virginia’s first emergency room alternative for youth experiencing mental health crises.
Under the direction and supervision of the CSS Clinician, Program Manager, or Program Director, this position coordinates the overall services provided to clients with external agencies and may provide some clerical support for the service. Ensures that professional medical standards are maintained throughout service area. Monitors and supports the health care provided to clients to assure compliance with regulatory requirements governing the service such as human support and administrative work administering daily medications, providing daily medical assessments, ordering medications, managing medication administration records, transcribing doctor’s orders, may draw blood, documenting activities, attending clinical staffing and training meetings, and related work as apparent or assigned.
